The Royal Mint             120  |   90   | 300

The central Royal Mint between 1300 and 1727, where Prague groschen were struck for 250 years. Come and see it for yourselves — we also have other coins on display that were minted here, such as parvus coins, kreutzers, hellers, and beautiful thalers, which later gave their name to the dollar.

You’ll also visit the older Royal Chapel and an exhibition dedicated to the process of transforming silver ore into finished coins.

At the end, you’ll witness a demonstration of medieval coin-striking techniques and — if you’re interested — you can mint your own Prague groschen!

Our guide will show you the Audience Hall where Vladislaus II Jagiellon was elected King of Bohemia. Just as in centuries past, this hall still welcomes esteemed delegations today — as well as newly born citizens of the town. Weddings and other ceremonial events are also held here.

You’ll also visit the film chambers, and the tour concludes with a visit to the Art Nouveau–adorned Royal Chapel of St. Wenceslas and St. Ladislaus.

An exhibition designed for the youngest visitors, with a model of a silver mine drift. Illuminated panels display the Legend of Lost Silver in a form of a comic strip.

Come and explore the hidden corners of Kutná Hora with us, learn about the history of this medieval town — and maybe even hear a juicy anecdote or two. Tours held at 1:00 PM include access to the oratory and attic space of the Sankturin House

A guided tour focused on locations featured in the game Kingdom Come: Deliverance II.

Duration: 2 hours. No age restrictions. 

Available in English and German (on request).

Our guide helps players explore familiar sites without getting lost, providing insights into the actual historical context around the year 1304, as well as from other periods, depending on what is most interesting at each location. While we assume most visitors are KCD2 players, we avoid spoilers and focus on historical facts and comparisons between selected scenes from the game and the current appearance of the city. During the tour, visitors will legally enter the mint and strike their own commemorative coin.

The tour does not require active participation (apart from walking), and knowledge of KCD2 is not necessary. The route is not wheelchair accessible.

As the sun sets over Kutná Hora, Lady Bianca von Ebersberg urgently seeks allies to help save her husband—the city’s imprisoned mintmaster—falsely accused of forging coins for foreign financiers. Join her on a discreet twilight quest through real historical locations tied to the case. At each stop, solve riddles, complete secret tasks, and earn Groschen to help raise his impossible bail before the court delivers its verdict. Your choices—and your cunning—shape the outcome. The night ends in a tavern (a bar), where you’ll toast your efforts with an alcoholic (or non-alcoholic) brew.
